Parent partnership is one of the most crucial factors to consider when supporting a child’s learning and development, so we ensure that we have an open-door policy and plenty of opportunities to speak with you about your child. Whilst the EYFS is moving away from large amounts of paperwork to track development, we continue to observe children and post these to you through your parent apps.
Your child’s Key Person will provide a handover at the end of the day and is available for an informal chat at this time or by pre-arranged appointment. In addition to this, we hold formal parents’ evenings twice a year to discuss development and next steps.
We are currently introducing an annual Meet the Team Evening. Here parents will have the opportunity to meet the practitioners in their child’s room, as well as other parents and see first-hand how we support learning.
